Ask questions about a document
The signing screen has an Explain this document button. It opens AI Reviews — “Ask questions about this document” — beside the document, without leaving the page.
It exists for the moment when the question is fair and the time is short: you have a contract in front of you, you are about to sign, and there is a clause you do not follow.
What to ask
Section titled “What to ask”The panel opens with How can I help? and four suggestions, which are also the questions most people want to ask:
Suggestion
---
Explain this document
What are my obligations?
Are there any unusual clauses?
Can I cancel this contract?
Or write your own, in “Ask a question about this document…”.
While it answers it shows Thinking…, and there is a Stop to interrupt. An interrupted answer is marked as such — “Response interrupted by the user.” — rather than looking finished.
Try again repeats the question. The Size A, A+ and A++ buttons enlarge the conversation text, which helps more than it sounds like on a small screen with small type.
You need to be signed in
Section titled “You need to be signed in”The panel is not open to everyone who receives a document:
“Explain this document” is available only to users signed in to AssinaJá.
To use it, create an account or sign in with your existing one.
Creating an account from here is quick and does not interrupt the signature — see Sign a document.
After signing, it becomes read-only
Section titled “After signing, it becomes read-only”Once the document is signed the conversation stays but closes:
This conversation is read-only — the document has already been signed.
You can still re-read what you asked and what you were told. That is the right call: what you read before signing is part of the signature’s story, and deleting it would serve nobody.
What it costs
Section titled “What it costs”Every question spends from the token balance of the organisation that sent the document, and the panel shows the usage bar at the top. A typical review runs to about 15,000 tokens.
With no balance the panel says so rather than failing quietly — “No tokens available” — with Buy tokens for whoever has the permission to do it.

What the answer is worth
Section titled “What the answer is worth”What the platform does guarantee is the rest: the question and the answer are yours, your acceptance of the feature is on record, and signing still asks exactly what it asked before.
