Getting started

This is the shortest route from a new account to a signed document. Each step links to the page that covers it properly — come back here for the order.

The first screen after signing up is Welcome to AssinaJá“Set up your organization to start using the platform.”

Only one field is mandatory: Organization name. Leaving it empty is refused with “Organization name is required.”

The rest can wait, but two are worth doing now rather than later:

  • VAT / EU VAT numberpara efeitos de faturação
  • Invoicing address

Fill these in before you buy anything; they end up on your invoices.

Then Create organization.

Do this before configuring anything else. It takes four steps and it teaches you the model faster than reading about it.

Send a document for signature

The one decision that matters is each signer’s signature type. If you are unsure, start with Visual Signature for internal approvals, and read Signature levels before sending anything contractual.

Your home screen counts documents by Draft, Sent, Received and Completed. The document list breaks the same thing down per recipient, so you can see who is actually holding things up.

Track and manage documents

Once everyone has signed, download the signed PDF and its Completion Report, and keep them together.

Validate a signed document

Sending the same document repeatedly? Save it as a template so you fill in a short form instead of repeating the wizard. → Use a template

Sending to the same people repeatedly? Save them as contacts, and group them. → Manage contacts and groups

Bringing in colleagues? Decide what each of them should be able to do before you invite them — the defaults are sensible but worth understanding. → Roles and permissions

Running out of signatures? Extras top up a single feature without changing plan. → Plans, credits and extras

Connecting your own systems? One API key per system, scoped to what it needs. → Create an API key
